Overview:

16a-Hydroxyprednisolone, a glucocorticoid API intermediate, is an intermediate for the synthesis of acetonide drugs that have been approved for marketing, including triamcinolone acetonide, budesonide, ciclesonide and desonide. Nedide drugs are inhaled glucocorticoids with the characteristics of local application, low dosage, strong local anti-inflammatory effect, and few systemic side effects. They are widely used in the treatment of refractory asthma and inflammation.
